Candidate personal data is only ever collected to help us find an employment position at one of our clients or offer related recruitment services. You can update/delete your personal candidate data, by logging into your account in the candidate portal, or requesting to have this information updated/deleted, at any time.

Whilst your information is stored on our systems, recruiters may from time-to-time contact candidates with relevant job opportunities.

We further collect client personal information in our database system.

1: Legal basis:
Our legal basis for the storing and processing of personal data is our legitimate recruitment business requirements, as a global staffing provider in the Energy and Health care sectors. Additional contractual agreement, consent, and legal obligations, allow for further specific data use.
Where consent is the lawful basis for our processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent to this specific processing at any time.

We require to maintain a database of candidate and client personal data and is a fundamental part of how the business operates.

2: Personal information:
Candidate personal information is collected and stored, which is relevant to finding an employment position with one of our clients. This includes information such as, relevant contact information, work and education experience, CV, compliance documentation and references etc. and data fields completed/documents uploaded on a voluntary basis, as part of the registration process, logging into the candidate portal and editing profile data, or further your information uploaded by our recruitment team from correspondence by phone, emails, website, recommendation, and identification of your work profile being relevant to our clients, from a public platform such as a job board, social media etc.

We collect additional sensitive candidate information, due to the specific industry sectors/job roles put forward for, after you have given consent for us to do so, along with ability to put forward to, a specific agreed client.
We further collect client personal information in our database system.

3: Uses made of this information
Wherever the candidate data originates, this will only ever be used to find you a position with one of our clients or offer related recruitment services. We will further contact you every time we would like to put forward your details to a client.

Client data is used in relation to engagement in regards to our recruitment services.

4: User rights under (GDPR)/General Data Protection Regulation

Right of Access You can access the data we hold about you at any time. Upon your request we will send a copy of the information we hold on you.

Right to Rectification You can request correction of any data that we hold about you at any time. We will correct the information upon your request.

Right to Erasure/Right-to-be Forgotten You can request that we remove/delete your information at any time. Although, if we have previously placed you at a client then some data may be required to be continued to be stored for a certain period of time after your request. In these circumstances we will communicate this to you.

Right to Data Portability You can collect and re-use your data at any time.

Right to Object to Direct Marketing You can object to direct marketing or the use of your data for the purposes of profiling or research. Here in these communications, we will always offer an unsubscribe option within the email that you are sent.

5: Disclosure of this information
We won’t share your candidate personal information to our clients without asking your permission first.
If legally obliged to do so we will share candidate personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies.
We limit access to your personal information to those employees, third parties etc. who have a business need to access the data. They will only process your personal information on our instructions.

Whilst we have candidate and client personal information, we will ensure to apply best practice and technology, regarding keeping you information secure, and in accordance with this privacy notice.
Third party processors that we use, comply with relevant legislation to process personal data on our behalf, and are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.
The data that we collect, may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may be transferred to staff who work for SSA Human Capital, and third parties supporting our recruitment services.

7: Retention, update and removal of this information
Retention policy of personal candidate and client data is subject to the data remaining relevant, in the operation of the legitimate recruitment business requirements of SAS Human Capital, as a global staffing provider in the Energy and Health care sectors.

You can update/delete your candidate personal data, by logging into your account in the candidate portal, or requesting to have this information updated/deleted, at any time.

Client personal data can be requested to have their information updated/deleted at any time.
It is important to ensure personal information we hold about you is accurate and up to date. You should let us know if any of this information changes, and your records are updated.

We reserve the right to alter this privacy policy at any time. Any changes we make to our privacy notice in the future, will be on posted on this page, and where appropriate, notified by email.
